ROSS Engineering successfully fabricated and installed 580 tonnes of large-scale structural steel utility racks, delivering the project under zero-margin-for-error conditions.

Each rack was constructed at ground level in 50m × 6m bays, fully fitted out with mechanical and electrical services before being mechanically lifted into final position. Individual lifts involved loads of up to 70 tonnes, accurately positioned and secured 7 metres above ground level.

Our scope of works included:

  • Full steel fabrication and installation
  • Mechanical and electrical coordination
  • Precision heavy lifting and jacking operations
  • High-tolerance alignment and securement
  • Comprehensive safety planning and risk management
  • Quality control and load testing
