ROSS Engineering was awarded the construction of a permanent raised metal structural cleanroom modular floor covering an area of over 2,273m². Each individual floor module weighed approximately 2.2 tonnes, with a total installed structural weight of 484 tonnes. The system consisted of a powder-coated structural steel frame, finished with a 10mm mild steel top plate overlaid with 7mm aluminium.

The cleanroom floor was designed to meet stringent cleanliness, performance, and operational standards for high-spec manufacturing and technical processes.

Our scope of works included:

  • Full design and engineering
  • Material selection and procurement
  • Controlled site preparation
  • Precision installation of modular cleanroom flooring, installed to tolerances ±3mm
  • Static control and ESD mitigation measures
  • Comprehensive digital documentation
