ROSS Engineering delivered the design, detailing, fabrication, and installation of an airtight structural sealing system, along with new protective guardrails to safeguard critical MEP services, across more than 200 live locations within an operational facility.

Due to the requirement for the airtight seal to perform both as an environmental barrier between a utility space and class 10 cleanroom and as a structural element, a high level of engineering coordination, fabrication accuracy, and installation precision was required, all while working within a live operational environment.

This approach ensured full airtight performance, structural compliance, and enhanced protection of mechanical services, while maintaining uninterrupted facility operations.

Our scope of works included:

  • Full design and detailed engineering of the airtight structural sealing system
  • Precision offsite fabrication of bespoke airtight assemblies
  • Site installation across 200+ live operational locations
  • Structural performance testing and airtight integrity assurance
  • Design and installation of new protective guardrails for mechanical services
  • Full safety compliance and controlled work execution within live environments
