ROSS Engineering was successfully awarded the structural steel retrofit and installation of secondary support steel structures within a live water treatment facility. The project objective was to enhance the facility’s structural integrity and operational efficiency while accommodating new equipment, pipelines, and systems, fully aligned with the site’s long-term maintenance and sustainability goals.

Due to the constraints of working within an operational treatment environment and the integration of new loads onto existing structures, a high level of engineering accuracy, safety planning, and installation precision was required to ensure all works were completed without impact to ongoing operations.

This approach ensured structural compliance, operational continuity, and the successful delivery of critical reinforcement works within live conditions.

Our scope of works included:

  • Structural reinforcement and retrofit of existing steelwork to current industry standards
  • Detailed design and installation of secondary support steel structures
  • Integration of new equipment, pipelines, and utility supports
  • Compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and best practices
  • Phased planning and execution to minimise operational downtime
